Introducing Kalei Porter, a passionate and creative dance instructor with 5+ years of experience teaching various dance styles. Specializing in recreational dance education for ages 2-8, Kalei’s expertise includes over two decades of training and teaching in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and more. During her college years, Kalei thrived as Co-President of the Simmons University Dance Company and academically studied dance through the Colleges of the Fenway performing arts program. As a choreographer and executive board member, she made dance accessible to the entire campus community, leading classes in jazz, ballet, contemporary pointe, musical theatre, and more for students of mixed levels.
Her dedication to dance education led her to teach at studios like Tippi Toes Kansas City and ICE Studios School of Dance, where she also shared her expertise in tumbling. Kalei has also been an active member of the dance team world as an alumnae of the Olathe North Eaglettes and as Nationals Staff at Dance Team Union, showcasing her dedication to multiple realms of dance.
Since moving to North Carolina, Kalei has enjoyed working with students of all ages at Royal Grace Academy of Dance. She looks forward to continuing to inspire and empower dancers of all ages and skill levels at our dance studio.
